Home Moravian Church worship services follow the church year and we use a lectionary (assigned scripture lessons for each Sunday). We are a liturgical church and we use liturgies in worship for the different seasons of the church year and general liturgies. Our Moravian Book of Worship contains our liturgies and our hymns. These aspects of worship ground us in the life and traditions of the larger Christian Church and they open us to new experiences in worship every Sunday. The primary musical instrument for our worship services is a pipe organ, but it is augmented with brass, bells and other instruments which add variety and beauty to our services. We invite you to worship with us at 10:00 a.m.
Worship will include a liturgy, congregational hymns, scripture readings for the day, and a sermon. The two sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion are observed during the service. Special occasions will be celebrated with a love feast service at the 10:00 o’clock hour. Visitors are welcomed and encouraged to attend any of our worship services.

I am a member of Home Moravian Church and look forward to every Sunday. There are so many amazing attributes about Home Moravian Church, but I will name three in this space. First is the congregation, you can always count on our congregation for help and support, we enjoy helping our community and church whenever we can. Second is our pastors Rev Rick Sides and Rev.Ginny Tobiassen, they combine as a great team, they have amazing leadership skills and always bring a great sermon on Sunday, you can tell they put a ton of energy and time into their calling. Third is the tradition, located in Old Salem, Home Moravian Church has been an anchor for our community, we understand that tradition is a value that binds our congregation and thoroughly enjoy showcasing it with our Lovefeast celebration during the holidays.
